Gain experience in kiln-glass working with top-notch instructors at Bullseye Glass Resource Centers. Take useful skills and fresh ideas back to your studio. We offer classes for beginners to advanced students, from fundamental techniques to theory, practice, craft, and design in our state-of-the-art studios.

Techniques include fusing, kilncasting, slumping, pate de verre, vitrigraph murrine, printing on glass, and many more specialty workshops taught by visiting artists and teachers. Traveling exhibits are also regularly on view and open to the public at our locations in the Bay Area and New York.

The Chrysler Museum’s Perry Glass Studio offers an immersive and innovative approach to experiencing the exciting properties of glass. Located adjacent to the Chrysler Museum of Art, the state-of-the-art facility brings the Museum’s renowned glass collection to life through free public demonstrations and classes for novice and master artists alike. Monthly evening performances at the Studio on Third Thursdays are a hallmark of the Chrysler and have drawn both popular and professional acclaim. The Studio regularly collaborates with other educational organizations and artists working in glass and new media through its robust annual Visiting Artist Series, Guest Instructor courses, special artist lectures, and Studio Assistantship programs. The Chrysler Museum Glass Studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Free demos daily at noon. Admission is free.

The Studio is an internationally renowned facility that offers glassworking classes for a variety of skill levels. Classes are taught by top artists and instructors from around the world, and are held year-round. Students enjoy the resources of The Studio, as well as the Museum’s collection and the Rakow research library. Spring and fall classes include ten-week sessions that meet once per week, as well as weekend sessions and one-day sessions. Summer and winter intensive classes are one or two weeks in length. Ox-Bow is an art school and residency program that offers glass courses and studio time for beginning to advanced students. Students work closely alongside artists from across the country with world-class instructors. The courses range in focus from the functional to the sculptural; from traditional to contemporary; from representational to conceptual. During intensive and immersive one & two week courses in our open air studio, students delve deeply into their practices. Ox-Bow is located 2.5 hours from Chicago on a lagoon alongside Lake Michigan. Pilchuck Glass School is an educational leader that supports the material of glass. Talented artists come from all over the world to share their practices and knowledge.
