The Chrysler Museum’s Perry Glass Studio offers an immersive and innovative approach to experiencing the exciting properties of glass. Located adjacent to the Chrysler Museum of Art, the state-of-the-art facility brings the Museum’s renowned glass collection to life through free public demonstrations and classes for novice and master artists alike. Monthly evening performances at the Studio on Third Thursdays are a hallmark of the Chrysler and have drawn both popular and professional acclaim. The Studio regularly collaborates with other educational organizations and artists working in glass and new media through its robust annual Visiting Artist Series, Guest Instructor courses, special artist lectures, and Studio Assistantship programs. The Studio is an internationally renowned facility that offers glassworking classes for a variety of skill levels. Classes are taught by top artists and instructors from around the world, and are held year-round. Students enjoy the resources of The Studio, as well as the Museum’s collection and the Rakow research library. Spring and fall classes include ten-week sessions that meet once per week, as well as weekend sessions and one-day sessions. Summer and winter intensive classes are one or two weeks in length.
