Tours and Demonstrations
There are a variety of ways to bring your group to UrbanGlass for a visit. Depending on your group's interest, age, and size, our educators can structure a visit to best fits your needs.
We offer 45-minute to one-hour-long glassblowing or flameworking demonstrations, for a flat fee of $400. These demonstrations include 2 artists, who lead the group through the process of making a glass piece. Groups are seated in the studio and have time to ask questions and discuss the process with the artists and tour host. These demonstrations can accommodate up to 40 participants.
We also host free studio tours that last approximately 15 minutes and take groups through our facilities. These tours are available for groups of up to 12 participants*.
Please fill out the form below to request a tour or demonstration. We need at least 2 weeks notice before the desired date to accommodate your request.
*For tours of less than 5 people, we request you take one of our free public tours, which are held on Saturday at 1pm. Tours depart our Agnes Varis Art Center at 1pm each Saturday.
