Additional Ways to Support UrbanGlass

The Hollister Society

Launched in 2017 on our 40th Anniversary, UrbanGlass’ Hollister Society honors supporters who have made a planned gift or included UrbanGlass in their wills. These generous individuals are helping to ensure future generations’ access to and education about glass as a creative material in our professional studios, classes, public programs, gallery and magazine.

The Hollister Society is named for Irene and Paul Hollister, longtime friends of UrbanGlass, and active supporters of the field. Paul’s art criticism appeared in publications including the New York Times and American Craft, covering many topics including the emergence of the studio glass movement. A gift from Irene’s estate began UrbanGlass’ planned giving program.

For more information about supporting a legacy for UrbanGlass through your planned gift, please contact Director of Development, Rachel Feinberg at 718.625.3685 x204 or Rachel@urbanglass.org.

Scholarship Naming Opportunities

UrbanGlass is thrilled to offer an opportunity to directly support artists who would not otherwise have the chance to learn in our studios.

Scholarships can be named for you or in another’s honor, and will support the full-tuition for at least one artist a year for five years to participate in a class that will support their development in our studios.  Your commitment of at least $1,000 a year for five years will support five artists.

For more information about this opportunity, please contact Director of Development, Rachel Feinberg at 718.625.3685 x204 or Rachel@urbanglass.org.
