General Scholarships

UrbanGlass offers 4 deadlines a year for general scholarship applications. These four deadlines are at the start of each semester, when there is most funding available for financial aid and students have the best chance of admission into their preferred workshop. To apply for a scholarship, please fill out the Scholarship Application Form below. 

Please be aware of the following deadlines for General Scholarships: 

December 8, 2019:  Deadline for applications for Winter scholarships 

March 2020:  Deadline for applications for Spring scholarships 

May 2020:  Deadline for applications for Summer scholarships 

August 2020:  Deadline for applications for Fall scholarships  

UrbanGlass offers a rolling scholarship application accessible throughout the year, but the extent of assistance with tuition is dependent on available funding and will vary.  It is highly recommended to apply at these deadlines. 

Partnership Scholarships
UrbanGlass  partners with over 160 universities and arts organizations around the world to offer free and low cost learning opportunities for students, staff, faculty and recent alumni. Please inquire with your university or home studio to see if they have a partnership set up. To set up a partnership for your school or studio please email Liesl at liesl@urbanglass.org.

Bead Project Alumnae Scholarships
• The Chelicca Bead Project Alumnae Fund: Launching in 2019, UrbanGlass is very excited to offer a limited number of full scholarships for Bead Project alumnae to continue their studies at UrbanGlass through the generosity of the Chelicca Fund. The Fund will provide ten, full scholarships each year, through 2028.*

• Partial scholarships through our general scholarship fund are also available for Bead Project alumnae.*

   * If you are applying for either of these scholarships, please select "Bead  Project" as your scholarship type in the form below.  Alumnae may only receive a scholarship from the Chelicca Fund once per calendar year. Additional scholarships may be possible through the general scholarship fund within the same calendar year. 

Youth Scholarships
If you would like to enroll your child in one of our youth programs or summer camps but can't afford the full price please apply for one of our new need-based youth scholarships. Fill out the form below and choose Youth Scholarship as your scholarship type. 

Youth Partnership Scholarships
Modeled on our extremely successful University partnership scholarship program, UrbanGlass is reaching out to local schools and youth arts organizations to set up collaborative scholarships for our summer camps and other youth programs.  The details of these scholarships vary from school to school but all recipients are chosen by our partner organizations so please inquire with your school or arts organization if they have a partnership with UrbanGlass. Any Parent's groups, school officials or teachers interested in setting up such a relationship for your school please contact Liesl at liesl@urbanglass.org.
